Thanks to the 238 employers who responded to our annual EmployerOne Survey! Staff is currently working on analyzing the data to create a report which will be released at the end of March.
Here are some early findings from the survey:
- There is optimism this year as more employers stated they are planning to hire (71%), and expansion was the most cited reason
- Hamilton has a strong start-up sector with 20% of businesses saying they started within the last 5 years
- The majority of workers have a favourable view of the availability of qualified workers as 51% stated it is excellent or good
