Workforce Planning Hamilton launched the Hamilton Job Satisfaction survey in early July to research why people stay in their workplaces and why they quit their jobs.
To date close to 400 people have completed the survey sharing valuable information which will be passed along to local employers and the community in a report in October.
The Hamilton Job Satisfaction Survey will be open until September 30th and people who are currently employed or have worked during the past year in Hamilton are encouraged to complete the survey.
In particular we are looking for people under 35, males, people that don’t have a post-secondary education and people working in the skilled trades to share information with us.
All responses will be kept confidential and reported in aggregate form only.
People who complete the survey will have a chance to win one of three $50 gift cards.
We are collecting data to better understand who is looking for work and what kind of opportunities jobseekers are searching for. This data is completely anonymous and non-personally identifiable.
