This report is the result of a partnership between Workforce Planning Hamilton, Mohawk College, Employment Ontario service providers and the larger health care sector employers in Hamilton.
With the support of a Sector Partnership Planning Grant from the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development, this research project seeks to identify key labour market skills shortages and workforce needs across these organizations; opportunities to fill these shortages with people who have barriers to employment; and analysis of training and support needs that would enable long term workplace success for these employees.
